The Heimat products are manufactured by Koch & Gsell, a Swiss start-up founded in 2015. In 2017, the company landed a coup: it launched the world's first tobacco hemp cigarette and caused an international sensation. In summer 2019, Europe's first industrially manufactured pre-roll made of pure hemp in cigarette form followed. As hemp cannot be processed like tobacco due to the resin it contains, these products are technically an innovation. The processes used to manufacture the products have been patented worldwide.
Meanwhile, the company has developed a wide range of CBD hemp products: Smokeables, hemp flowers, heat-not-burn sticks, snus and beverages.
