About Georg Hesse
Georg joined Amazon in Germany back in 1999 when it was still only selling books. In his 16 years with the company he was launching and running more than a dozen different businesses for retail and marketplace. Eventually Georg was responsible for the non-Electronics Hardlines categories as a group director. From 2016 to 2020 Georg was CEO of HolidayCheck Group AG, a publicly traded online travel holding group with companies in Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands and Poland. He joined Thrasio in 2021 as VP for UK and Germany.
